This program is basically a Mac alternative to the very helpful Windows program: Sequoia View. Both programs are used to display the sizes and types of files on a storage device in a graphical way called "treemaps". Specifically, using the language of Sequoia View, both apps display files and folders using "squarified treemaps". When you're concerned with unnecessary files consuming a lot of your hard disk space, these apps become invaluable to disk cleanup.

I have been an ardent user of Sequoia View and when I noticed that my Mac's Hard Drive was filling up I wanted to take control of the files it had stored. I had to search high and low for this program, so I hope this will be helpful.

My one major criticism of this app is the fact that it takes...FOREVER, to scan a volume. Sequoia View is ten times faster.
