Tech Toolbox
CPUZ
I don't really like to feature programs that have an archaic interface, but a good majority of the more useful programs out there don't have stylish, web 2.0-ish user interfaces. While the interface for CPUZ may not look very attractive, it does have a place in the tech's toolbox.
Process Explorer
This is a really neat utility helpful for manually cleaning out viruses and spyware that can't be picked up by your Antivirus/Antispyware tools. For a really neat video on how to clean spyware check out Microsoft's Malware-Cleaning Webcast.
SIW
SIW is an advanced System Information for Windows tool that gathers detailed information about your system properties and settings and displays it in an extremely comprehensible manner.
SIW is so powerful it has the ability to recover lost passwords, show you your windows product key, your motherboard's PCI devices (useful for locating drivers), and perform several network commands.
Autoruns
Autoruns is a very useful little application. This program, much like msconfig, allows you to view and configure those application that are starting up with Windows.
Autoruns is much more advanced than msconfig and has "the most comprehensive knowledge of autostarting locations of any startup monitor".
You can also filter by verified/unverified applications, or if they're Microsoft/Third-Party. This filtering system tends to be useful when hunting for malware.
