Dial2Do

Dial2Do is a free (as in free refills) voice transcription service that interfaces with several other websites. During the registration process at Dial2Do, you'll enter in and verify your mobile phone number. This is how Dial2Do records your voice and recognizes that it's you who is calling. Then when you want to use their service, you'll contact Dial2Do via your mobile phone by calling their toll-free number. After placing the call Dial2Do will first ask which service you want to use. Some of the most basic and convenient services include sending text messages, email, and reminders.

For text messaging and email you'll have to upload your contacts into your online account either by importing from another webservice (including Gmail, AOL, Windows Live, Microsoft Outlook, Jajah, Skydeck, or Yahoo) or by entering them in manually. Next, before taking down your actual email/text Dial2Do will ask you who your recipient is. Then you enter in your message. Dial2Do will take your voice, transcribe it into text then pass it through the related service.

Some of the other service that Dial2Do has integrated into their web application include: Google Calendar, 30Boxes, Evernote, Twitter, Weather, Remember the Milk, Toodledo, Friendfeed, Blogger, LiveJournal, Tumblr, TypePad, and Wordpress. You can also sign up to listen to RSS feeds from Lifehacker, Mashable, the New York Times, Techcrunch, and Read Write Web. To view a list of all supported services visit: http://www.dial2do.com/services/list?sel_cat=1.

Best of all Dial2Do is 100% free.

Update
Dial-2-do is no longer free, except for basic notifications (which is a great limitation on its former service). So you can exclude this from my list of favorable websites.
